KC PG ALUMNI MEETING REPORT-MYSORE RESIDENTS

A meeting of the KC PG Alumni residing in Mysore was held on 7th March 2025 At Guru Residency from 3.30 PM to 5.30 PM to discuss the upcoming alumni program scheduled for 19th and 20th April 2025. The meeting witnessed active participation from both senior and junior alumni members. Dr. Mythrey R. C., the Organizing Secretary of Suvarnakaya, delivered a detailed address outlining the events planned for the two-days program. Following the presentation, an open discussion was held where attendees shared their suggestions on the schedule, event sequence, and overall arrangements.

Key highlights of the meeting included:

• Finalization of program flow for the alumni meet.
• Discussion and allocation of funds for various activities.
• Fundraising initiatives and outreach for sponsorships, particularly from Mysore-based Ayurvedic medical pharmacies.
• Assignment of alumni members to approach potential sponsors.
• Deliberation on scientific sessions, including selection of speakers and topics all of which received positive feedback and appreciation.

It is based on the belief that different parts of the iris correspond to specific organs and systems in the body. Practitioners, known as iridologists, analyze patterns, colors, and other iris features to detect potential health issues.

Iridologists use charts to map iris sections to body parts, though these mappings are not scientifically proven. The method is non-invasive and painless, making it appealing to those seeking holistic health insights. However, mainstream medicine does not recognize iridology as a reliable diagnostic tool due to a lack of scientific evidence.

While some believe iridology can provide early warnings about health, critics argue that it lacks standardized methodologies and reproducible results. The effectiveness of iris diagnosis remains debated, and it is often used alongside other alternative or conventional health assessments

A orientation programme was conducted at charaka block to welcome first year pg scholars ,the programme was presided by principal Dr. Radhakrishnaramarao, Hod’s of all the department along with other staff members were also present, the Pg scholars introduced themselves formally and they were welcomed by handing over a flower.the programme was concluded after vote of thanks.
