Highlights of the seminar:
Research in Ayurveda is need of the hour & especially clinical research is essential for development of new therapeutics, new trails & new drugs for known & unknown diseases now & in future. Quality & authenticity of a research is based on the evidence it carries – hence, Evidence based medicine & its application in clinical medicine is essential. Discussions was done on ayurvedic variables which may/maynot affect research, various alternatives for RCT model like blackbox design, Nof 1 design etc, evidence of EBM in Ayurveda & futuristic approach for betterupment of clinical research with EBM.
