TREATMENT PROTOCOL OF RASAVAHA SROTO VIKARA

The presentation discusses Rasavaha Srotovikaras, conditions arising from the vitiation of Rasavaha Srotas, whose roots lie in the hridaya and dasha dhamanis. Improper diet and lifestyle disturb doshas and impair rasa dhatu, leading to Rasapradoshaja Vikaras such as jwara, pandu, aruchi, and klaibya. Langhana (lightening therapy) is emphasized as the first line of treatment, especially in ama-dominant conditions, followed by swedana, tikta rasa dravyas, and dietary modifications like yavagu. Depending on the stage and type of disease, treatments such as shodhana (vamana, virechana, basti), snehapana, and shamana are adopted, with specific protocols detailed for each condition like jwara, madatyaya, and kshayaja klaibya.
